Dell Inspiron E1505 speaker istance?

I left my laptop on last night for music purposes and it died due to not being plugged into the charger. I come home from work later to charge it and attempt to listen to music and there is no sound whatsoever. Even when I try to lug in headphones or another speaker, nothing. I've checked everything and the audio options say that there is output in the levels, but I'm not getting anything. It's a Dell Inspiron E1505 running Windows 7 ultimate.
