The Color Purple: Sofia?

Is Sofia a dynamic character because doesn't she change a lot in this book?? One day she is very nice to Celie, then the next she beats up Harpo and works hard on the roof to put shingles on, then the next day she tells Celie to stand up for herself, then Sofia gets put to jail. I forgot how she got put to jail if you guys can remember? Anyway, I'm thinking she is dynamic, if she was static she would stay the same the whole entire book.
