How long after cleansing/toning should I moisturize?

I have very oily skin, so I only moisturize at night. When I moisturize with my oil free moisturizer,it gives my face an oily sheen. I always moisturize right after I cleanse/tone, but I'm wondering if it would be as effective to moisturize right before I get into bed?
